What’s a Wah Pedal? A wah pedal employs a sweeping filter to enhance and exaggerate specific tones across a broad frequency range. As it reaches higher frequencies, it produces vocal-like sounds, resembling the human voice. In early wah pedals, a footswitch controlled this sweep in a see-saw motion. With the DW400, the sweep is automatic as per your settings. Alternatively, you can connect an expression pedal (not included) for a vintage touch. Powered by BEHRINGER’s Real Sound Modeling technology, the DW400 authentically replicates human vocal qualities.

Simple to Use! You can manipulate the DW400’s frequency sweeps by foot-tapping a tempo or adjusting the dials. Choose from three modes: Synth/Up/Down, Human Voice, and Tap Tempo. Fine-tune the Vowel (A/E/I/O/U) Sensitivity, Manual Vowel selection, and Decay knobs to craft your desired wah sound. Power it with a 9 V battery or a DC Power Supply (not included).
